Als DJs wissen wir ganz genau, wie wichtig es ist, Intro Edits und Instrumentals im Repertoire zu haben. Deshalb haben sich die Kollegen von Beatsource mit der Create Music Group und EMPIRE zusammengeschlossen, um zukünftig eine Vielzahl von exklusiven DJ Edits von tausenden Tracks beim Streaming Dienst Beatsource LINK zur Verfügung zu stellen. Diese Edits beinhalten auch „Intro-Versionen“, wobei jeweils an den Anfang und an’s Ende ein paar Sekunden des Instrumentals geschnitten wurden, um das Mixing damit zu erleichtern.

Diese Kollaboration ist somit der erste Schritt einer Initiative von Beatsource, um DJ-Edits künftig über das Streaming, zum Einen zu authorisieren, und zum Anderen zu monetarisieren – da dies bisher in der Musik Industrie noch nicht der Fall is.

Create Music Group und EMPIRE sind gründlich durch ihre Bibliotheken gegangen, um deren bisher beliebtesten DJ Edits exklusiv für Beatsource bereitzustellen. Darunter fallen Edits von Hits von Künstlern wie: Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Rich The Kid, Anderson Paak, Tory Lanez, dem Insomniac Records Katalog und noch mehr.

Beatsource hat sich aktuell mit den Major Labels darüber verständigt, dass deren Tracks auch als lizensierte DJ Edits ab April bei LINK verfügbar sein werden.
