Notch’s ‘Nuttin Nuh Go So’ Remixed by Da Phonk & Luis R: DJcity Exclusive

Dutchman Da Phonk and Colombia’s Luis R have teamed up for a remix of Notch’s 2001 reggae hit “Nuttin Nuh Go So.” Based on the same riddim behind Sean Paul‘s 2002 reggaeton anthem “Like Glue,” the duo imbues their remix with a fun, poppy feel.

Regarding the remix, Da Phonk and Luis R says that they “really enjoyed turning this classic dancehall tune into a bouncing 2021 remix,” because they both “love and play the original a lot!” Da Phonk says “on top of Luis’ bassline and chords, we added my type of drum groove and arrangement. That’s what made the perfect combination for this collaboration. We tried to create a new warm vibe so it will fit a little better in current 2021 sets with more energy and pumping beats.”
