Mau P Remixes Armand Van Helden’s ‘I Want Your Soul’

Fresh off the heels of his tech house heater “Drugs From Amsterdam“, Dutch DJ/producer Mau P returns with a new remix of Armand Van Helden‘s 2007 classic, “I Want Your Soul.” Mau P’s version blends deep, rumbling bass with crisp drums and the original’s head-turning vocals, creating a massive, maximum-energy club shaker.

“Life has been feeling like a dream lately, everything is evolving so quickly at the moment. Being told that the ‘I Want Your Soul’ edit I made was going to become an official release was another real pinch me moment,” Mau P says. “Armand Van Helden is one of my all time heroes and ‘I Want Your Soul’ is such a classic. I must’ve played it hundreds of times at house parties and even to this day it always hits the spot. I hope I did the track justice with my version, I guess we’ll find out soon enough.”

Los Angele’s J Rythm drops his first release on DJcity Records titled, “Oye Mi Canto.” The track is a Latin house remake of N.O.R.E‘s 2004 anthem with the same title featuring Nina Sky, Gem Star, Daddy Yankee and Big Mato.

“This single started with a simple house remix idea of an all time favorite reggaeton classic “Oye Mi Canto” with N.O.R.E. and Nina Sky,” J Rythm says. “I thought an uptempo version that included the original catchy melody and recognizable chorus would make something special for the dance floor for summer 2023.”

Robin Roij & Da Phonk Remix Akon’s ‘Right Now (Na Na Na)’: DJcity Premiere

Dutch DJs/producers Robin Roij and Da Phonk team up to release a new remix of Akon‘s “Right Now (Na Na Na).” The original is the lead single from Akon’s third studio album, Freedom.

Regarding the remix, the duo says, “We both loved this song so much, but could never play it with the energy we wanted. So we decided to create a remix of it that would fit our sets. It was a joy to collab again and flip this classic into a banger!”
