Avicii ‘Without You’ Remix Contest Winners Announced

After careful consideration, Avicii has picked France’s Notre Dame and Japan’s Tokima Tokio as the winners of DJcity’s “Without You” remix contest!

The original plan was to select one winner, but Avicii loved both Notre Dame and Tokima Tokio’s remixes, so he chose both! They will both receive the $5,000 cash and have their remixes released on Geffen Records.

Following his appearance at the Meadows Festival in New York City, JAY-Z traveled to the U.K. to chat and perform on BBC Radio 1. During the candid conversation with host Clara Amfo, Hov discussed his 4:44 album, fatherhood, social media, Donald Trump, and more.

The rapper performed “Family Feud” from 4:44 and his classic collaboration with Linkin Park, “Numb/Encore.” Hov was joined by his longtime engineer, Young Guru.

Roadman Shaq Drops ‘Man’s Not Hot’ Single

In August, UK comedian Michael Dapaah went viral when his Roadman Shaq character freestyled on Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show. Now, Shaq has released “Man’s Not Hot” as an official single.

The track uses the same beat as 67 and Giggs’ 2016 grime anthem, “Let’s Lurk.” It was produced by GottiOnEm and Mazza.

Dappah, who now goes by the name of Big Shaq, recently signed to Island Records. “Man’s Not Hot” is his first single on the label.
