Watch Beast Mode’s Surprise Routine for DJcityTV

Renowned turntablist Beast Mode paid us a surprise visit at the DJcity office in Los Angeles, on his way home to Australia from the Goldie Awards.

Beast Mode is an open-format DJ from Australia, he was recently crowned the vice champion at the 2019 Goldie Awards, he is also a former Red Bull 3Style world finalist, two-time Australian 3Style champion, DMC champion, and ITF scratch champion.

DEFRA Delivers Hip-Hop Routine for DJcityTV

German DJ/producer, DEFRA, has thrown down a high-energy routine for DJcityTV. In his performance, the 34-year-old turntablist cuts up a mix of new and old hip-hop tracks.

Originally from Munich, DEFRA is best known for his Toneplay Tuesday series and for his collaborative hit single “Lit,” with German R&B singer, Marko Leano.

DJcity Singapore team member LeNERD has dropped a creative open-format set for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions. The 29-year-old turntablist’s performance includes wordplay, tone play, and scratching.

LeNERD is a resident at Zouk nightclub in Singapore, which has been voted one of DJ Mag’s top ten clubs in the world each year since 2010. He has opened for artists like Party Favor, Wuki, and more.

Reed Streets, a Philadelphia-based turntablist, has dropped a creative routine for DJcityTV.

Reed Streets is the music director and official DJ for the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team. He also spins on the alternative rock station Radio 104.5. In 2015, Streets was the Red Bull 3Style US runner-up.

SPYK began his career as a radio and club DJ in Nigeria before moving to Germany in 2015. His goal is to compete in the Red Bull 3Style while continuing to travel and rock parties.
