How DJs Should Use Microphones
DJs don’t have to use a microphone, but having some mic skills can be very beneficial. On this episode of Share the Knowledge, DJ TLM discusses why DJs may want to use a mic and how they should use it.

Red Bull 3Style France Finalists
Red Bull 3Style has chosen DJ SUPRA, N’joY, DJ Svelt, DJ EMII, DJDAN, and Akila Be Water to compete at the French national finals.
The competition will take place on Sept. 15 in Lille at Le Splendid. It will be judged by DJ Stresh, the 2016 3Style France champion.
This is the first in a series of exclusive daily announcements in which DJcity will reveal the participants for each competing country.

Mayeda Covers Kehlani’s ‘Distraction’
Los Angeles DJ/producer Mayeda has transformed Kehlani‘s laid back single “Distraction” into a nu disco heater.
Released in July 2016, “Distraction” was the second single off the singer’s debut album, SweetSexySavage. It peaked at No. 85 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and was certified gold two weeks ago, nearly a year after its release.

DJ Woody Scratches Over ‘BocaWoody’ Single, ‘Freeze’
DJ Woody has shared a video of himself scratching over BocaWoody’s single, “Freeze.” BocaWoody is a collaborative project between him and fellow UK DJ/producer, Boca 45.
