DJs Should Be More Self-Reliant
In the age of the internet, it’s possible to find the answers to many of our questions. That includes questions about DJing, for which there are many online resources.
However, DJcityTV’s DJ TLM has noticed that many DJs rely on asking people questions when they could’ve found the answer on their own. Connecting with other DJs is a good thing, but relying on them to get answers limits your career. Whether it be deciding which equipment to buy or learning how to design a logo, TLM encourages DJs to be more self-reliant.

Watch Yxng Bane’s ‘Vroom Remix’ Video Feat. Beenie Man
London’s Yxng Bane brings in the Jamaican legend Beenie Man for his remix of the smash hit “Vroom”. The original has been dominating the airwaves, so this remix has dropped at the right time. “Vroom” was the sixth most-downloaded song of March on DJcity UK.

Watch: DJ Precision Performs Routine and Reviews Rane’s New Gear
DJ Precision, a four-time DMC champ and member of the X-Ecutioners crew, has dropped a new routine for Serato. In it, he uses the Rane TWELVE controller, Rane SEVENTY-TWO and TTM57mkII mixers, and limited edition Technics SL-1200GLD turntable.
After his performance, the Queens native gives his thoughts on Rane’s latest products. Precision explains how he controls effects using the SEVENTY-TWO’s built-in touchscreen. He also notes the TWELVE’s hot cue buttons, and its ability to control up to four decks.
