Uganda-based DJ Emmie Delivers High-Energy ‘Bedroom Sessions’ Routine
Kampala, Uganda’s DJ Emmie has dropped a high-energy routine for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions. His creative, open-format performance highlights his wordplay and scratching skills.
Emmie, a.k.a. “EmThatGuy,” has been DJing for two years. He’s been keeping busy with his two mix series: U.K Streets, which features grime, drill, and AfroSwing from UK-based artists, and Music Connects Us, where he features a blend of various genres. His career goals include DJing at the AfroNation festival and competing in the Red Bull 3style.

DJ Stonic’s Latest ‘Scratchflix’ Episode Parodies ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’
Reigning Red Bull 3Style Italy champion Stonic has called upon an impressive lineup of turntablists for the latest episode of his Netflix parody series Scratchflix. The “Scratch Mirror: Banderscratch” episode puts a choose-your-own adventure style spin on a traditional scratch cypher.
Stonic is joined by Damianito, DJ Delta, Dj D_MiND, Kut Real, SupaMario, DJ Bolla, DJ Kamo, DJ YANEZ, and Zio.n. At the end of the first video, viewers can make a choice: clicking the link to one of the following videos takes you to either the next DJ’s routine or to a “game over” page where you have the option to start over.

Check Out Craze’s ‘Disconnect 2 Reconnect’ Mix

Slow Roast Records boss and all-around DJ legend Craze has dropped “Disconnect 2 Reconnect,” a cinematic-style DJ mix. At an hour in length, he’s discovered an innovative format for evolving DJ culture during the quarantine.
Musically, the performance is made up of a blend of pop-adjacent hip-hop, R&B, and bass music. Visually, it’s a non-stop highlight reel of music videos, memes, and other entertaining video clips.
On his Twitter account, Craze noted that he worked on the mix for three months and called it “a masterpiece.” Premiering via his Twitch channel on December 30, 2020, notable DJs like Skratch Bastid and DJ Green Lantern have used phrases like “life-changing” and “too cold” to describe the set.
