DJcity Teams With GENRE BNDR for New T-Shirt Collab



DJcity and DJ apparel brand GENRE BNDR have returned with a new t-shirt collaboration.

The “Boss” shirt features a mohawk-clad DJ Quickie from the mid-2000s. (Quickie is the co-founder and CEO of DJcity.)

The shirt is available on GENRE BNDR’s website.

Damianito, the Red Bull Music 3Style World Champion, has dropped a mix for GENRE BNDR. It is the first in a series exploring the connections between different genres of music.

In his 30-minute set, the DJcity Italy representative blends bass music, house, drum and bass, and more.

Watch YB’s Routine for GENRE BNDR


Japanese DJ and turntablist YB, formerly known as YossyBoy, has dropped a routine for GENRE BNDR.

A former Red Bull 3Style competitor, YB spins at some of the country’s biggest urban clubs. In December, he dropped a mix for the DJcity Podcast.

His routine makes use of the following tracks: Mura Masa‘s “Love$ick” featuring A$AP Rocky, G-Eazy‘s “No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, and 2 Chainz‘s “Used 2.”

Trentino & DJ EASE

Trentino, the 2013 Red Bull 3Style US Champion, and DJ EASE, a 2016 Red Bull 3Style US finalist, have put down a new routine for GENRE BNDR. The pair met up in Tokyo while on their respective tours and made use of Big Sean‘s hit single, “Bounce Back,” and Wuki‘s trap anthem, “DADADADA.”

Watch DJ IKU’s Routine for GENRE BNDR


DJ IKU, the 2010 Red Bull 3Style Japan champion, has dropped an extended routine for GENRE BNDR. His set, which was shot in one take at the Kreatah DJ Skool in Bangkok, uses a variety of classic tracks and current hip-hop.

Watch DJ Oki and Matsu’s Routine for GENRE BNDR


DJcity Japan member DJ Oki recently teamed up with rising US DJ/producer Matsu in a new routine for GENRE BNDR. The pair showed off their skills in a scratch-heavy performance, which they split into two parts. First, they flipped Dume’s remix of Ciara’s 2004 hit single, “Goodies,” then they scratched over Mr. Carmack‘s 2014 track, “Simpler.”
