Reigning Red Bull 3Style Italy champion Stonic has called upon an impressive lineup of turntablists for the latest episode of his Netflix parody series Scratchflix. The “Scratch Mirror: Banderscratch” episode puts a choose-your-own adventure style spin on a traditional scratch cypher.
Stonic is joined by Damianito, DJ Delta, Dj D_MiND, Kut Real, SupaMario, DJ Bolla, DJ Kamo, DJ YANEZ, and Zio.n. At the end of the first video, viewers can make a choice: clicking the link to one of the following videos takes you to either the next DJ’s routine or to a “game over” page where you have the option to start over.

The Red Bull Music 3Style IX national finals kicked off last Friday in Rome, Italy, the home of reigning world champion Damianito. The Italy final marked the start of the European leg of 3Style’s world tour, which ends in France on October 6 before heading to the Americas.
Fittingly, Damianito is currently on the road with 3Style, serving as a judge and performer for each of the Euro finals. To show what his life on tour is like, the DJcity Italy representative has started a mini-documentary series.
In the first episode, Damianito takes us behind-the-scenes at the Italy and Switzerland finals. He also discusses how difficult it is picking a winner.

At this year’s PLAYLIST Retreat, six of the attendees were selected to compete in an impromptu DJ battle. Nick Bike, EASE, DJ Jaycee, Trayze, DJ BYTE, and Damianito competed to win a pair of Rane TWELVE controllers and a Rane SEVENTY-TWO mixer. The battle was hosted by DJ Zimmie, and the judges chose EASE as the winner.
Each contestant was given a USB drive with a selection of songs from which they had to build their sets. This meant that the DJs had to come up with new routines, as opposed to relying on material from previous battles.
DJ set times:
Nick Bike: 1:40
DJ Jaycee: 11:17
DJ BYTE: 23:35
