Classic DJ Gear: Pioneer DJ DJM-909 Mixer
Pioneer DJ changed the game when it introduced the DJM-909 mixer in 2004. Equipped with 50 effects and a touchscreen, the DJM-909 was ahead of its time.
Not only did it become a favorite among club DJs, but it also paved the way for future two-channel mixers by Pioneer and its competitors. That includes the company’s extremely popular DJM-S9.

Classic DJ Gear: Vestax PMC-07 Pro
Introducing Classic DJ Gear, a new series from DJcityTV hosted by Houston’s Mister Remix.
The first episode features the Vestax PMC-07 Pro, or as Remix calls it, “the original king of the two-channel scratch mixer scene.”
Released in the ’90s, the PMC-07 Pro was Vestax’s first two-channel battle mixer. It became a standard for hip-hop DJs and turntablists around the world.
Remix looks at the pros and cons of the PMC-07 Pro, along with how to modify it, where to buy it, and how much to pay for it.

Mister Remix Gets Busy With Battle Ave’s ‘Phrase Delay Cuts’ Scratch Sentence
DJcity and Battle Ave have teamed up for a new monthly scratch tool series, Cut2Cut.
The first release is a scratch sentence called “Phrase Delay Cuts.” It was produced by Houston DJ and turntablist, Mister Remix.

Mister Remix and DJ Rockwell Perform on Battle Ave and DJcity’s ‘At the Ave Tour’
Houston party rockers and turntablists Mister Remix and DJ Rockwell perform a four-minute routine in the latest visual from Battle Ave and DJcity’s At the Ave Tour. The video is a seamless combination of footage from Remix and Rockwell’s team performances in Las Vegas and Denver.

Houston’s Mister Remix Drops Mix for DJcity Podcast
Mister Remix, a member of the Battle Ave crew, has delivered a half-hour set of twerk and dancehall-influenced tracks for the DJcity USA Mix. The Houston native was previously featured in DJcityTV’s Cutting Room series.
