France’s R-Wan Commemorates Debut Album With ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix

To celebrate the release of his debut album Genesys, French DJ/producer R-Wan has dropped a vibey mix for the DJcity Podcast. It features a number of cuts from the album alongside some of the hottest Afrobeats tracks.

R-Wan has made a name for himself in his hometown of Paris and beyond thanks to appearances at festivals like Tomorrowland, Dance Valley, and Ultra Music Festival. In the studio he has collaborated with artists like Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, and Chuckie. His productions have landed him on the Beatport Top 10 chart multiple times. Here at DJcity, customer satisfaction is crucial, and therefore we always take input and feedback from our customers and DJ community very seriously. Due to popular demand, DJcity has added two new affordable and flexible subscription plans to our record pool.

New features and plan details:

• We have added an affordable one-month plan for just $30 a month.

• Our best value six-month plan for $150 is also now available. When this plan is selected users get one month for free by saving $30.

• New users can now try our record pool for just $10 for the first month.

• Our previous three-month plan for $90 is no longer available to new users. Existing users are grandfathered in and can choose to remain in this plan.

• Users can now change or cancel plans at any time by navigating to the billing page. The change plan feature is currently only available for subscribers paying with a credit card. Subscribers paying with PayPal can contact us to change plans.

Jay Bombay and Gavin Francis Remix Shade Sheist’s ‘Where I Wanna Be’ Feat. Nate Dogg and Kurupt: DJcity Exclusive

Belgian DJs/producers Jay Bombay and Gavin Francis have teamed up for a house remake of Shade Sheist‘s “Where I wanna Be,” featuring Nate Dogg and Kurupt. The original track was released on December 12th, 2000 via MCA Records as the first single from Shade Sheist’s debut studio album, Informal Introduction.

Regarding the new remix, Jay and Gavin said, “we were hanging out when suddenly Nate Dogg started playing. Immediately we started talking about giving our own touch to this classic record. That same day we hit the studio and created this remix.”

In addition to being a producer, Gavin Francis is also one of DJcity’s Dutch reps and DJcity Records’ Marketing Director.

Hercules Announces Limited Edition DJControl Inpulse 500 White Edition

Hercules has announced an all-white version of their popular DJControl Inpulse 500. The controller is limited to 1000 pieces and will be available in Europe, North America and the Middle East.

The unit includes a Serato DJ Pro license key, an embroidered carrying case, and a variety of free elements and services to enrich the DJing experience such as royalty-free music packs and overlays for livestreaming (available for download on the Hercules website).

The DJControl Inpulse 500 White Edition has a suggested retail price of $449.99. It is currently available for preorder in the United States and Canada and will be released at the end of February.
