After 10 years, DJcity’s MikiDz Show is more popular than ever. It has featured legends such as Jazzy Jeff, A-Trak, and Craze, along with new generation favorites like Four Color Zack, J. Espinosa, and Miles Medina. The show’s hosts MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone have also played a role in its success, steering the show and interviewing its guests.

To expand on the MikiDz brand, DJcity has launched the MikiDz Podcast, which will be hosted by MikiWAR and Dainjazone, along with DJ Rell, who serves as the MikiDz Show‘s opener. Watch Destructo, Cut Chemist, and DJ Nu-Mark Throw Down on Unique ‘MikiDz Show’ Episode

DJ Nu-Mark, Destructo, Cut Chemist
Left to right: DJ Nu-Mark, Destructo, and Cut Chemist on the “MikiDz Show” at DJcity in Los Angeles on July 23, 2018.

In three weeks, Destructo‘s inaugural All My Friends festival will take place in downtown Los Angeles. The two-day event will feature a diverse lineup of artists from across the hip-hop, R&B, and dance worlds.

Included in the lineup are legendary DJs and Jurassic 5 members, Cut Chemist and Nu-Mark. To showcase the festival’s eclectic bill, both joined Destructo on Monday for a unique episode of DJcity’s MikiDz Show live stream.

Chemist kicked off the night with an eye-popping set of turntablism, making full use of his equipment. He was followed by Destructo, who dropped a signature set of g-house, including many of his own tracks. Closing out the night was Nu-Mark, who put down an all-45 set, which included impressive juggles and other tricks. It was only the second time that a DJ performed an all-vinyl set on the show (the first was DJ Neil Armstrong).

The show was hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and included an opening set from Los Angeles’ DJ Rell.
