Watch: DJ RENA Drops Exclusive Routine for DJcityTV

DJ RENA, the 2017 DMC World Champion, has dropped a highly technical routine for DJcityTV. In his routine, RENA showcases the skills which led him to become the youngest ever to win the DMC World Finals.

The 15-year-old Japanese turntablist has a number of battle wins to his name. He is the 2018 Kame World Classic champion and the 2019 IDA World Show Category vice-champion as part of Superbeast DJs with his partner K-Swizz.

Major Lazer Drops New Single ‘King of the Party’

12 years later and Diplo‘s side project Major Lazer has set a standard as progressive as that of the DJ/producer himself. The trio’s latest is “King of the Party,” from their just-released Soca Storm EP. Caribbean and South American Carnival season starts in two weeks (February 20-25), so this soca-meets-trap-meets-hardstyle production is right on time.

Da Odd Couple to Perform on DJcity’s ‘MikiDz Show’ Live Stream

Legendary turntablists Rob Swift and Mista Sinista, also known as Da Odd Couple, will perform on DJcityTV’s MikiDz Show live stream on Monday, February 10.

Swift and Sinista were original members of the New York City-based DJ crew The X-Ecutioners. The group was a defining force in the 1990s DJ battle scene. They also released a number of albums combining turntablism and production. They have DJed for and collaborated with artists such as Common, Fat Joe, JAY-Z, Linkin Park, and more.

The MikiDz Show is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone. Watch it at 7 p.m. PT on DJcity’s website.
