British creative collective Boom City has announced the return of the Inside Turntablists documentary series. The series shines a light on the scratch community around the world.

British creative collective Boom City has released a turntablist documentary, Making Mad Noise – 10 Years of Community Skratch.
The Community Skratch event series brings turntablists together from around the world for showcases and networking. It began with the Community Skratch Games in 2006 in Galway, Ireland. It later expanded to Brighton, UK, with DJ Manipulate‘s Community Skratch BBQ.
As the turntablism community grew, the event series branched out with UK and European tours. Community Skratch has also begun to collaborate with Battle Avenue, expanding the turntablist network even further.

DJ Chile (Credit: Boom City)
British creative collective Boom City has released the latest episode of their documentary series, Inside Turntablists. This episode features DJ Chile, an award-winning UK turntablist based out of Hull.
Chile is a 15-year veteran of the DJ community. He is the 2011 WTK World Freestyle Scratch champion and the 2013 IDA UK Freestyle Scratch champion. In addition to battling, he also produces a series of scratching tutorials which are available on his YouTube channel.

DJ Soak (Credit: Boom City)
Soak is a two-time DMC Spain champion and the 2006 ITF vice world champion. He began competing in DJ battles at the age of 12 and won the ITF Spain title at 16 years old. In April, he released his debut EP Paradiso, which features his collaboration with Anderson .Paak titled “Run Away.”
On the episode, Soak discusses how he got into turntablism, his DJ battle history, his approach to producing, and how his collab with .Paak came about.

British creative collective Boom City has released the second episode of their documentary series, Inside Turntablists. The video puts a spotlight on DJ Manipulate, a 21-year veteran from Brighton, UK.
Manipulate is a member of the trio, Grandeurs of Delusion. He’s also a leader in the European turntablism community, having organized showcases, battles, and networking events across the continent.
On the episode, Manipulate discusses his approach to scratching, his group Grandeurs of Delusion, and his involvement in the European turntablism scene.
