Lil Jon, Usher, and Ludacris Drop New Track ‘Sex Beat’

Lil Jon has collaborated with Usher and Ludacris on “Sex Beat,” a seductive slow jam that he previewed on Instagram last week. The song was co-produced by Kronic and co-written by Jermaine Dupri.

The artists previously collaborated in 2004 on the tracks “Yeah” and “Lovers and Friends.” “Yeah” sold 6.5 million copies and reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Lovers and Friends” was successful as well, hitting number three on the Hot 100.

“Sex Beat” drops at 12am ET on Friday, April 10 here.

‘R.O.A.D. Podcast’: DJ Mell Starr Describes the Exclusive DJ Scene in Harlem

Mell Starr also explained why uptown DJs like DJ Boogie Blind choose not to share Harlem club anthems with DJs outside of the community.

D’Maduro Remixes Ester Dean’s ‘Drop It Low’: DJcity Exclusive

Dutch DJ/producer D’Maduro is back with another DJcity exclusive remix. This time, he’s taken Ester Dean‘s 2009 trap-pop single “Drop It Low,” drenched it in dirty Dutch drums and created an energetic floor-filler.

The single cracked the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2009. “Drop It Low’s” infectious, snapping energy and remixes featuring the likes of Lil WayneTrey Songz, and Diddy has allowed it to remain a go-to club track for a decade. Now, D’Maduro’s remix speeds it up to the range of modern dembow-driven pop and reggaeton, breathing new life into the track.
