Corona’s ‘Rhythm of the Night’ Remixed by Stavros Martina and Kevin D: DJcity Exclusive

Kevin D (Source: Kevin D)

Dutch DJ/production duo Stavros Martina and Kevin D have linked up for another DJcity exclusive remix. This time, Corona’s Eurodance classic “Rhythm of the Night” —  a global top-ten smash in 1994 — gets a modern refresh.

Gone are the racing synths and manic energy. Instead, they’re replaced with a soothing dembow rhythm aided by the booming soprano vocal chopped into a melodic line all its own.

Regarding the remix, Martina says “the track was a special project. We made it to save the nightlife.  It means let’s save the clubs…because [the coronavirus] is doing a lot of damage to the nightlife. ‘Save the rhythm of the night’ is a nice quote. Let’s save the night together and work together to help each other in these [coronavirus] times.”
