James Hype Drops House Remix of Rae Sremmurd’s ‘Black Beatles’

After premiering it on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra with MistaJam, rising DJ/producer James Hype has released his house remix of Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane‘s “Black Beatles.” The original is currently No. 1 and 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and DJcity’s Hotbox, respectively.

Serato DJ 1.9.5 Public Beta Now Available
Serato has released the public beta of Serato DJ 1.9.5. The update adds HID support for the Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000NXS2 and plug-and-play support for the DJM-900NXS2 when used with Serato DJ Club Kit. The beta also includes bug fixes as well as stability improvements.

Watch Salaam Remi Make a Beat With Random Records
Mass Appeal has featured veteran producer Salaam Remi in their Rhythm Roulette series.
The series challenges producers to make a beat by sampling three random records, chosen from a record store while blindfolded.
Remi’s best-known productions include old school anthems like Ini Kamoze’s “Here Comes the Hotstepper” and The Fugees’ “Fu-Gee-La,” and more recent hits like Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” and Nas’ “I Can.” The Queens, New York native also contributed to Amy Winehouse’s studio albums Frank and Back to Black.

KidCutUp Releases New Scratch Sentence
