When it comes to song selection, DJs often identify with one of two camps: Those who play for the crowd and those who play for themselves. DJ TLM doesn’t think it has to be one or the other, though.

Watch Stormzy’s Special BBC Live Lounge Performance
Stormzy has returned again this year for the BBC Live Lounge, but this time for a very special performance, bringing out guests J Hus, Ghetts, Wretch 32, and MNEK to perform their tracks from his debut number album, Gang Signs And Prayer. Stormzy closed out the Live Lounge by performing a cover of Frank Ocean’s “Godspeed”.
DJ EASE Performs a Routine for DJcityTV
DJ EASE, a 2016 Red Bull Thre3style US finalist and four-time DMC regional champion, has put down a routine for DJcityTV. His two-minute performance features world-class turntablism and three tracks: the Geto Boys’ 1991 classic “Mind Playing Tricks on Me,” the Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ 2003 hit “Can’t Stop,” and Thugli‘s 2012 trap banger, “Bout It.”

DJ Brace Scratches Over Drake’s ‘Portland’
After taking a week off due to an arm injury, DJ Brace is back with another challenge from Skratch Bastid. This time, the DMC Online champ takes on Drake‘s new Quavo and Travis Scott-assisted track, “Portland,” using gear from his new sponsor, Reloop.
Fretless Fridays is a weekly series that features DJ Brace scratching over popular songs using John Beez’s Fretless Fader.

How to Live Stream a DJ Set, Part 2
Last week, we released the first episode of Mojaxx‘s tutorial on live streaming DJ sets. We originally planned on spacing out the episodes, but the response has been huge, so we’ve had Mojaxx return this week for part two.
On the second episode, Mojaxx looks at the visual aspects of his preferred streaming software, OBS Studio. The topics discussed include scenes, overlays, and more.

Watch Damented Juggle TroyBoi’s ‘O.G’
Damented, a member of the 2012 DMC World Team Champions, The Mixfitz, has flipped TroyBoi‘s “O.G” in a new routine for DJcityTV. The Belgium turntablist displays his juggling skills with the track, which has amassed over 11 million plays since its release in 2014.
Damented was also a finalist in the 2014 Red Bull Thre3style Belgium championship.

Watch Stonic’s ‘Lego Scratch’ Routine
Italian DJ/producer Stonic is known for his creative turntablism videos.
In 2015, we shared a routine of his in which he placed himself inside the world of Grand Theft Auto V. The Sicilian turntablist has also released a UFO-themed video.
Now, Stonic has returned with a “stop motion” animation that features a crew of Lego turntablists. (Stop motion is a technique in which an object is physically manipulated so that it appears to move on its own.)
