Regi ‘Where Did You Go (Summer Love)’ Remix Contest Winner Announced
Congratulations to Belgium’s Nico Nobels & Venemy for winning our REGI “Where Did You Go (Summer Love)” remix contest! Their remix was selected by REGI out of 5 finalists.
For winning, Nico Nobels & Venemy will be featured by CNR Records (Mostiko/Smash The House) as an official remix and will receive a KRK RP6 RoKit G3 Bundle.

Russia’s DJ Chell and DJ Wide Perform Trap-Influenced Routine
DJ Chell and DJ Wide, members of the Scratchburg DJ crew, have put down a trap-influenced routine for DJcityTV. In the two-minute video, the Russian turntablists flip the Foreign Beggars and Alix Perez’s single “Modus,” and Drake’s smash hit “Started From the Bottom.” Chell and Wide were previously featured on DJcityTV’s Cutting Room series.

Red Bull 3Style Switzerland Finalists
Red Bull 3Style has chosen DJ Max Power, DJ STEEL, DJOK, DR.FAD-R, DJ Ronfa, and DJ Jay-K to compete at the Switzerland national finals.
The competition will take place on Sept. 23 at Kanzlei Club Zürich.
This is part of a series of daily announcements in which DJcity will reveal the participants for each competing country.

Introducing the Spinbox, a DIY Portable Turntable
There are a wide variety of turntables on the market today, including models for professional DJs, amateur DJs, regular listeners, and audiophiles.
One of the more unusual models is the Spinbox, a DIY portable turntable kit that’s affordable and easy to build.
Like many great inventions, the Spinbox was born out of necessity. Several years ago, DJ QuestionMark released an album on vinyl and sold a bunch of copies to his friends. However, most of them didn’t have a turntable. That’s when QuestionMark got the idea to develop an affordable and easy to use turntable: the Spinbox.
The Spinbox isn’t available yet, as QuestionMark is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to bring it to the masses. However, DJcityTV’s Mojaxx loves the idea behind it, and couldn’t help but review it on Tips and Tricks.
