Rogerson Remixes The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’: DJcity Premiere
DJcity fan-favorite Rogerson is back with a remix of The Weeknd‘s 2015 hit “The Hills.” Upon its release, “The Hills” reached the top of the charts in the US and Canada, and cracked the top ten on charts around the world.
Rogerson’s remix takes the epic chorus from the original and layers it with strings before leading to a powerful drop. “It’s no surprise I like [the chorus] the most, because it’s really dreamy,” Rogerson says.

Rogerson Remixes Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Martin Garrix’s “Tremor”: DJcity Exclusive
Dutch DJ/producer Rogerson is back with another remix exclusively for DJcity. This time, the trio of Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and Martin Garrix‘s 2014-released, top-40 global-charting electro anthem “Tremor” receives a blend of big room and tech house production.
Rogerson notes, “This is probably the track which took the longest to finish of my whole discography. I’ve started this one back in the summer of 2020, but never finished it because I didn’t know how to finish the drop. I suddenly knew what it needed, which was a bassline that follows the main lead, followed by a trackable breakdown. This made it a remix which bounces all over the place!”

Dutch DJ/producer Rogerson is back with another remix exclusively for DJcity. This time, it’s a refreshing, funky take on Zedd and Foxes‘ 2012 big room smash “Clarity.” The emotive dance ballad was a triple-platinum-selling hit that reached the top of Billboard’s Dance Music chart and was a top-10 charter on Billboard’s Hot 100.
“For me, Zedd is one of the greatest producers out there,” Rogerson says. “Because of that, it wasn’t easy to create a theme for this remix, as its original is so good already! I like dark deep sounds for my remixes, but this one wouldn’t fit… because of it’s musical key. So I made the choice to create something completely different, and I think it worked out really well!”

Dutch DJ/producer Rogerson is back with another remix exclusively for DJcity. This time around, he flips Wiz Khalifa‘s club classic “We Dem Boyz” into a pulsing, four-on-the-floor heater. The original track premiered in 2014 and made its way to the number four slot on Billboard’s US Hot Rap Songs chart.
“When I started making this track, I wanted to make every sound myself,” Rogerson says. “I started with the break, working towards a heavy sounding drop, like I always do. I really like creating dark and rough tracks like these!”

Rogerson & Ray Montreal Remix Blackstreet’s ‘No Diggity’ Feat. Dr. Dre: DJcity Exclusive

DJcity fan favorite Rogerson has linked up with fellow Dutch producer Ray Montreal to flip Blackstreet‘s 1996 classic “No Diggity.” The Teddy Riley-produced track, which features Dr. Dre, hit the top spot on charts around the globe and has been certified platinum in the US, UK, and New Zealand.
“Me and Ray know each other for some time already, but we never did a musical collaboration,” Rogerson says. “After he asked me for feedback on his ‘No Diggity’ remix, we decided to combine forces. The R&B vibe really fits in modern house music, as it sounds tough and cool. On top of my bassline, we added Ray’s type of drum groove, which he uses on all his tracks. That’s what made the perfect picture.”

Rogerson Remixes Major Lazer’s ‘Bam Bam’: DJcity Exclusive
Dutch DJ/producer Rogerson has delivered a remix of Major Lazer‘s “Bam Bam,” featuring French Montana and BEAM. This DJcity exclusive goes into tech-house territory with a pumping bassline.
The original track is from Music Is the Weapon, Major Lazer’s just-released fourth album. It marks three years since hip-hop hitmaker Montana and the tropical bass trio collaborated on “Leg Over” featuring Mr. Eazi and Ty Dolla $ign. That song received the Nigeria Entertainment Award for “Hottest Single of the Year.”
“I was searching for a song that I could remix, when ‘Bam Bam’ took my eyes, as it was on #1 in the record pool,” Rogerson says. “It already had the Afro-type vibe that I like, but I wanted to combine that with some full tech-house sounds. I had to find the right way to transition between the styles, but I’m very pleased with the result!”
