Hercules Announces Limited Edition DJControl Inpulse 500 White Edition
Hercules has announced an all-white version of their popular DJControl Inpulse 500. The controller is limited to 1000 pieces and will be available in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
The unit includes a Serato DJ Pro license key, an embroidered carrying case, and a variety of free elements and services to enrich the DJing experience such as royalty-free music packs and overlays for livestreaming (available for download on the Hercules website).
The DJControl Inpulse 500 White Edition has a suggested retail price of $449.99. It is currently available for preorder in the United States and Canada and will be released at the end of February.

Matsu Delivers The Latest ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix
DJcity’s New York representative Matsu has thrown down a heavy, hard, and bass-laden mix for the DJcity Podcast. In addition to being Beatsource‘s New York rep, Matsu is also the Label Manager of the legendary Slow Roast Records, and one of the youngest top-placing competitors ever in Red Bull’s 3Style USA Finals. Moreover, with co-signs from the likes of A-Trak, Craze, and Jazzy Jeff, his diverse musical tastes and technical skills have him regularly booked at festivals like SXSW to nightclubs including Brooklyn Steel, Summit (TX), Tunnel (CHI), and Edge (LV).

Hercules Releases Limited Edition Gold DJControl Inpulse 500

Hercules has announced the release of a new limited edition gold version of their popular DJ controller, the DJControl Inpulse 500. The special release is limited to 1000 units, with each unit numbered 1 to 1000. The controller also comes with a Serato DJ Pro license and a carrying case.

Rising DJ/producer Matsu catches up with DJ Spider on this week’s episode of The 20 Podcast. The Indiana native is the label manager at Craze’s Slow Roast Records, and the New York City representative at DJcity and Beatsource. He has also competed as a finalist in the Red Bull 3Style and Goldie Awards. Matsu discusses his experience battling and what he’s learned from working at Slow Roast, among other topics.

Matsu has competed in many DJ battles across the globe and recently took second place in the 2019 Red Bull 3Style US National Final. The Indianapolis raised and now Brooklyn based turntablist is also the label manager of DJ Craze’s renowned Slow Roast Records.
