In three weeks, Destructo‘s inaugural All My Friends festival will take place in downtown Los Angeles. The two-day event will feature a diverse lineup of artists from across the hip-hop, R&B, and dance worlds.

Included in the lineup are legendary DJs and Jurassic 5 members, Cut Chemist and Nu-Mark. To showcase the festival’s eclectic bill, both joined Destructo on Monday for a unique episode of DJcity’s MikiDz Show live stream.

Chemist kicked off the night with an eye-popping set of turntablism, making full use of his equipment. He was followed by Destructo, who dropped a signature set of g-house, including many of his own tracks. Closing out the night was Nu-Mark, who put down an all-45 set, which included impressive juggles and other tricks. It was only the second time that a DJ performed an all-vinyl set on the show (the first was DJ Neil Armstrong).

The show was hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and included an opening set from Los Angeles’ DJ Rell.

Earlier this month, the Red Bull 3Style World Finals VIII saw some impressive routines from its 24 contestants. But they also featured a few memorable sets from a couple of special guests.

One of them was a showcase by legendary DJ and producer Nu-Mark, who also served as a judge for the competition. The Los Angeles native performed his set during the first night of qualifiers while his fellow judges deliberated the winner. The event took place on February 7 at the Forum Przestrzenie in Krakow, Poland.

Nu-Mark threw down a truly eclectic performance, blending together a mix of popular throwbacks and their funky renditions. He also sprinkled in some breakbeats, house, and modern hip-hop.

DJ Nu-Mark is known for including his famous “toy set” in performances these days, in which he plays children’s music toys as instruments. The Jurassic 5 member took things to a new level on Monday’s MikiDz Show, though, when he pulled out a pair of three-inch turntables mid-way through his set. Mark proceeded to rock the spot in front of a stunned audience, weaving together new and classic material in an unforgettable performance.
