Super Hero DJs Announces #100WorldClassRoutines Giveaway

To celebrate their 100th routine tutorial, the Super Hero DJs online school has announced the #100WorldClassRoutines giveaway. Super Hero DJs has teamed up with DJcity and Magma DJ Bags to put together prize packs for three winners.

For a chance to win, contestants must follow @superhero_djs on Instagram. Next, in the comments section of their giveaway post, guess how many minutes of instructional material are available to Super Hero DJs members. Lastly, tag a friend in your comment.

The three contestants with the closest guesses will win one of the following prize packs:

1st Prize: One-year Super Hero DJs membership, one Magma DJ Bags Solid Blaze Pack 120, one three-month DJcity record pool subscription, and a DJcity hat.
2nd prize: One three-month Super Hero DJs membership, one SHDJs shirt, and a DJcity hat.
3rd prize: One SHDJs shirt and a DJcity hat.

‘Meraki’ DJ Challenge Winners Announced

Slow Roast Records, Super Hero DJs, and DJcity have chosen the winners of DJ Ride‘s “Meraki” DJ Challenge. San Jose, California-based turntablist Illtrax took the top spot, with Singapore’s DJ KoFlo and Latvia’s DJ Aspirins taking second and third place respectively.

Turntablist/producer DJ Ride has released his new EP, Meraki, on Slow Roast Records. To celebrate, Slow Roast has teamed up with DJcity and the Super Hero DJs online school for the Meraki DJ Challenge.

Here’s how to enter:

-Download the scratch tool here
-Record a video routine with a maximum length of 60 seconds (frontal view, minimum 1080p resolution)
-Upload the video to your Instagram page with the hashtag #MerakiDJChallenge

Prizes for 1st Place include:

-1 pair of custom control vinyl designed by Digilog Designs
-Lifetime membership to Super Hero DJs
-Your routine featured on Super Hero DJs

Prizes for 2nd and 3rd place include a 3-month DJcity membership, Slow Roast Records merchandise, and more. The deadline for entry is November 24.

The Super Hero DJs online school has dropped a tutorial from 2015 Red Bull 3Style world champion, DJ BYTE. In the video, the Chilean turntablist breaks down one of his funky Latin tone play routines.

The school has also collaborated with DJcity representative Matsu on a tutorial breaking down his “Booty Bounce” routine. Matsu will be competing in the Red Bull 2Style X US Finals and was also a finalist in the 2018 Goldie Awards.
