Watch Clean Bandit’s ‘Solo’ Video Feat. Demi Lovato
UK trio Clean Bandit has dropped a video for their dance-pop single “Solo” featuring Demi Lovato. The song is currently No. 13 on DJcity’s Hot Box chart.
In the video, Lovato’s vocals narrate the story of Clean Bandit member Grace Chatto’s difficult relationship. Chatto’s bandmates are there to help her get through it.
The trio produced the single with the help of award-winning UK producer Mark Ralph. Ralph’s production credits include songs for Kygo, Tinashe, and AlunaGeorge.

Watch CBMIX Explain How He Produced Lil Pump’s ‘Esskeetit’
Rising Chicago producer CBMIX has explained how he made Lil Pump’s “Esskeetit” on a new episode of Genius’ Deconstructed. The track, which was DJcity’s No. 22 most-downloaded song of April, peaked at No. 24 on Billboard’s Hot 100. It is Pump’s second highest charting single to date following his breakthrough hit, “Gucci Gang.”
CBMIX recalls how he linked up with Pump in Miami then gives a detailed break down of how he constructed the beat in FL Studio. He ends by showing how he mastered Pump’s vocals in Pro Tools.
A multi-platinum producer, CBMIX is best known for his extensive work with Chief Keef. He also produced Chance the Rapper‘s “Mixtape,” a track from Chance’s 2016 Grammy-winning mixtape, Coloring Book.

Pioneer DJ Announces DDJ-SX3 Controller
Pioneer DJ has announced the DDJ-SX3, an update to its hugely successful DDJ-SX series of controllers.
Designed for use with Serato DJ Pro, the unit expands on the functionality of the previous generation. It adds a second USB port for easy changeovers and back-to-back sets, and a third microphone input, making the DDJ-SX3 a great choice for DJs who work with singers, MCs, and other live performers.
The DDJ-SX3 comes with licenses for Serato DJ’s Flip and Pitch & Time expansion packs and is the first model in the SX series to have dedicated pitch play controls. The mixer section now features four standalone Color FX, Echo, Jet, Noise and Filter, which will be familiar to users of the company’s club mixers.
Available in early June, the DDJ-SX3 is set to retail for $999 — the same price as the previous DDJ-SX2.

The Best DJ Gear Deal of 2018
In 2015, Epsilon released a mid-range turntable called the DJT-1300 USB. DJcityTV’s Mojaxx didn’t get his hands on one at the time, but he recently put one to the test.
It turns out that Mo was surprised by what he found. While the DJT-1300 isn’t really suitable for gigging, it’s currently available in Europe for only $185.48 at recordcase.de and $192.96 at Turntable Training Wax. Mo says that’s an “insane bargain” if you want an extra turntable at home or you’re a beginner looking to get your first pair of decks.

Watch DJ Megan Ryte’s ‘On & On’ Video Feat. Tory Lanez and HoodCelebrityy
Hot 97 host and on-air mixer DJ Megan Ryte has shared the video for her debut single “On & On” featuring Tory Lanez and HoodCelebrityy. The dancehall-influenced track is currently buzzing on the East Coast.
After establishing herself on the radio, Ryte recently signed an artist deal with Interscope Records. “On & On” serves as her first release, and the lead single off her forthcoming album. Her project is set to be executive produced by the Heavy Hitters’ DJ Enuff.
Co-directed by Ryte, the cinematic and cameo-friendly visual is part one of a series of upcoming videos from the rising artist. It starts off with an intro from Sway Calloway and takes place at a club in which Ryte is DJing. As she keeps the party going, things get heated between Desiigner, Smoke DZA, and others in the restroom.
