Major Lazer Drops ‘Blow That Smoke’ Video Feat. Tove Lo

On Friday, Major Lazer celebrated their impressive career by dropping a 25-track compilation album titled Major Lazer Essentials. All of the tracks had been previously released except for “Blow That Smoke,” an Afrobeats-influenced anthem featuring Tove Lo.

With the track gaining momentum (it’s currently No. 2 on DJcity), Major Lazer and Tove have returned with a video for it. The fitting-visual takes place at a smoke and sweat-filled party in the jungle — or so it seems.

Vice and Jason Derulo Drop New Single ‘Make Up’ Feat. Ava Max

Vice and Jason Derulo have dropped an upbeat pop single titled “Make Up.” The funky, 122 BPM track features vocals by rising pop singer Ava Max.

The new single has also received an accompanying summer-themed visual. In the video, Vice and Ava relax by the pool while Derulo dances around.

A-Trak to Perform on DJcity’s ‘MikiDz Show’ Live Stream

A-Trak

DJcity’s MikiDz Show has featured some of the world’s most influential in DJs, including Jazzy Jeff, QBert, Z-Trip, and Craze. On Monday, Oct. 29, the show will add to that list with a performance from none other than A-Trak.

Though many of his friends have appeared on the show, it will be A-Trak’s first performance. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re very excited to have him.

The live stream will follow Monday’s world-class performance from Miles Medina, who won A-Trak’s inaugural Goldie Awards DJ Battle in 2017. (We’ll post the video of his set and interview this Thursday.)

The MikiDz Show is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and includes an opening set from DJ Rell. Watch it at 7 p.m. PT on DJcity’s Facebook page or website.

Watch Travis Scott’s ‘SICKO MODE’ Video Feat. Drake

Travis Scott has dropped a video for his hit track, “SICKO MODE.” The song is the second single from his album ASTROWORLD, and features Drake, Juicy J, and Swae Lee.

In the surreal video, Scott and Drake travel to different locales in Scott’s hometown of Houston, including the legendary Screwed Up Records & Tapes.

“SICKO MODE” peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Rhythmic Songs chart. The track has close to 250 million streams on Spotify.

Watch MK, Jonas Blue, and Becky Hill’s ‘Back & Forth’ Video

MK, Jonas Blue, and Becky Hill have shared a bizarre video for their house anthem, “Back & Forth.” The track was one of the most-downloaded songs of September on DJcity and DJcity UK, ending at No. 15 and No. 7 respectively.

The weird visual shows a man struck down with a spastic looping condition while his wife struggles to figure out what it is.

“Back & Forth” is the second collaboration between MK and Becky Hill, following their 2016 single titled “Piece of Me.”
