Watch 2 Chainz’s ‘Rule The World’ Video Feat. Ariana Grande

2 Chainz has shared a nostalgic video for his latest single “Rule the World” featuring Ariana Grande. The Hitmaka-produced song, which appears on Chainz’s Rap Or Go to the League album, marks his second collaboration with Ariana following the “7 Rings Remix.”

The visual finds the two artists performing in an underground jazz club somewhere in Los Angeles. Watch the video above and download “Rule The World” on DJcity.

DJcity and DJ Vice‘s inaugural Beyond the Music Retreat went down in Black Hawk, Colorado this week. The conference brought together DJs from around the world, including A-Trak, who spoke on the “$kills vs Bills” panel alongside Miles Medina, Kayper, and DJcity National Director, Styles Davis.

With such a long history in the DJ business, A-Trak had plenty of experience to pull from. He, along with the other panelists, spoke on topics like playing for crowds that may not understand the technical aspects of DJing, losing gigs to celebrity DJs, and more.

After speaking at the conference, the Fool’s Gold boss took to Twitter on Friday to share more thoughts about the challenges that open-format DJs face and how they can overcome them.

DJ FJ, a turntablist from Portland, Oregon, breaks down one of his routines in a tutorial for the Super Hero DJs online school. The video is part of the school’s SPOTLIGHT series, which focuses on up-and-coming talent.

In the routine, FJ flips Lil Wayne‘s “Uproar” and YG‘s “Who Do You Love” featuring Drake.

Super Hero DJs offers multilingual lessons from world-class DJs, including former 3Style and DMC champs like Hedspin, Fong Fong, JFB, 69Beats, and Trayze.

Watch Trayze Perform Live Remix With Roland TR-08 and Serato DJ Pro TR-SYNC

Trayze

Trayze has dropped a live remix of the classic house track “Percolator,” along with a breakdown of his equipment setup. In the routine, he uses Serato DJ Pro’s recently added TR-SYNC feature with a Roland TR-08 drum machine.

After the performance, Trayze shows how he combines the TR-08 with his turntable setup and Serato DJ Pro. Using the TR-SYNC feature, he is able to match the BPM of the track with that of the drum machine.

Formerly known as Cajmere, Green Velvet‘s Chicago house anthem “Percolator” has been a staple for dance music DJs since its release in 1992.
