Spryte Remixes B.o.B’s ‘Headband’ Feat. 2 Chainz: DJcity Exclusive
Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Spryte returns with another DJcity exclusive, this time remixing B.o.B‘s 2013 hit “Headband” featuring 2 Chainz. In his remix, the hip-hop track receives a bouncy, tech house treatment.
“I’m always looking for inspiration when trying to figure out what to remix next,” Spryte says. “Headband is just one of those songs I play almost every set and consistently gets a great reaction. People will hear the whistle sample drop and the place goes bonkers. This was an easy choice for a remix, plus the whistle sample played great over tech house drums. I also made the bass follow the pattern of the whistle. With these things in place, the rest of the track came together quickly.”

Lady Gaga collaborator DJ White Shadow and Red Bull Music 3Style competitor D-JR have formed a new group called WS+JR. The duo will release remixes and edits of classic party tracks and current heaters.
To kick things off, WS+JR have dropped an edit of 2 Chainz‘s 2012 anthem, “I’m Different.” It is available exclusively on DJcity.
The duo is also set to embark on a worldwide tour, with dates to be announced soon.

Watch 2 Chainz’s ‘Rule The World’ Video Feat. Ariana Grande
2 Chainz has shared a nostalgic video for his latest single “Rule the World” featuring Ariana Grande. The Hitmaka-produced song, which appears on Chainz’s Rap Or Go to the League album, marks his second collaboration with Ariana following the “7 Rings Remix.”
The visual finds the two artists performing in an underground jazz club somewhere in Los Angeles. Watch the video above and download “Rule The World” on DJcity.
Watch 2 Chainz’s ‘Bigger Than You’ Video Feat. Drake and Quavo
2 Chainz has shared a lighthearted video for his Drake and Quavo-assisted single, “Bigger Than You.”
Produced by !llmind and Murda Beatz, the track peaked at No. 53 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and was DJcity’s eighth most-downloaded song of June. It was also included in the July edition of DJcity Trends.
The visual shows child lookalikes of 2 Chainz, Quavo, Drake, and Murda partying and causing trouble at school.
“Bigger Than You” is expected to appear on 2 Chainz’s forthcoming fifth studio album, Rap or Go to the League.

YG has shared the video for “Big Bank,” the second single off of his Stay Dangerous album. The Mustard-produced track features a lineup of superstars including 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj.
The song is currently a hit amongst West Coast DJs and was featured on the latest edition of DJcity’s Trends.

YG has shared a hilarious lyric video for his new star-studded single “Big Bank” featuring 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj. Produced by Mustard, the track currently sits at No. 7 on DJcity’s Hot Box chart.
The clip finds YG, 2 Chainz, Sean, Minaj, and Mustard illustrated as cartoon characters. They all perform their verse in their own wacky scene as Mustard plays the xylophone beside them. Each artist’s likeness and personal style is recreated quite well by Los Angeles-based production company Shadow Council Productions.
“Big Bank” debuted at No. 66 on Billboard’s Hot 100 on Tuesday. It is set to appear on YG’s forthcoming studio album Stay Dangerous.
