rekordbox dj Adds Streaming Support for Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+

Pioneer DJ has released rekordbox dj 5.6.1, an update that introduces support for music streaming services Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+. DJs can now play tracks from those services along with music in their rekordbox library when using rekordbox dj.

Users can either search for tracks or browse charts or playlists on Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+ directly from rekordbox dj.

Both Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+ require subscriptions. All Pioneer DJ products that support rekordbox dj are compatible with Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+ upon subscription.

DJ KA5 Delivers ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix

DJ KA5, DJcity’s Miami representative, has put down a creative mix for the DJcity Podcast. His half-hour set, which features mostly a variety of Latin sounds, includes one of his own remixes.

Catch DJ KA5 and the rest of the DJcity Miami crew at the DJcity Linkup on September 18. The event will be held at Kings Dining and Entertainment in Doral.

112’s ‘Dance With Me’ Remixed by DJ Stressy: DJcity Exclusive

Sweden’s DJ Stressy has delivered a moombahton-influenced remix of 112‘s R&B hit, “Dance With Me.” The remix is available exclusively on DJcity.

Upon its release, “Dance With Me” became an international hit. It peaked at No. 20 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and reached No. 1 and No. 2 on the charts in Belgium and Australia, respectively.

“I remember my sister listening to it often,” Stressy says. “and when I was around 16 years old and went to these high school parties, ‘Dance With Me’ was a track I couldn’t wait to hear… I really love the intro in the original, it hits hard!

‘R.O.A.D. Podcast’: DJ Neva Talks Growing up During the Golden Age of Hip-Hop
