DJcity‘s subscription service focuses on new music, especially exclusive remixes, bootlegs, and edits. Beatsource, however, offers millions of new and old tracks, as well as hundreds of playlists for DJs. To highlight its extensive catalog of classics, Beatsource launched the weekly series TBT Hits. The list is compiled by Beatsource curators DJ Drew, DJ Majestik, DJames, and DC.

SH8K Remixes Swedish House Mafia’s ‘One (Your Name)’: DJcity Exclusive

San Diego-based DJ/producer SH8K‘s latest remix is a take on Swedish House Mafia‘s iconic, decade-old hit “One (Your Name).” The legendary house trio’s collaboration with Pharrell Williams gets fresh energy pumped through it via SH8K’s modern take on big room house.

“This was so much fun! I’m really having fun making these remixes that bridge the gap from big room sound to bouncy tech house, definitely more to come!” SH8K says.

Winner Announced for Beatsource and deadmau5’s ‘Pomegranate DJ Challenge’

Following a two-week contest, Japan’s DJ Fummy has been crowned the winner of the Beatsource and deadmau5’s “Pomegranate DJ Challenge.” The Osaka native has won a $2,000 Apple gift card and a one-year subscription to Beatsource LINK.

A seasoned turntablist, Fummy won second place in the 2018 Red Bull 3Style World Finals and DMC World Championship.

DJ Datflex (Spain) and Sergi Ales (Spain) are the first and second runners-up. Both contestants have won a one-year subscriptions to LINK. Honorable mentions include DJ Michelle (UAE), Devon Kosoko
 (UAE), and DJ ND (Belgium).

All entries were judged on creativity by Beatsource’s global team.

Italian DJ Dez has delivered a laid-back, summery routine for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions. His six-minute performance features soulful hip-hop and R&B seamlessly blended to create a peaceful vibe.
