Paul E Drops ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix

Miami’s Paul E has delivered a smoothed-out club mix for the DJcity Podcast. His half-hour set features a laid-back blend of R&B, hip-hop, house, and more.

Paul E owes his music style to his Brooklyn roots blended with the influence of the Miami club scene. You can catch Paul spinning each week at The Wharf, hosting his podcast The PR Cast, or at Paul E’s Pop Up Party! – a unique event combining his nightlife savvy with his passion for food. As if that didn’t keep him busy enough, Paul E spends the rest of his free time creating and editing video for some of YouTube’s biggest stars.

Sage The Gemini’s ‘Gas Pedal’ Remixed by Mark Cutz: DJcity Exclusive

Sage The Gemini‘s 2013 hit “Gas Pedal” has been given a bass-heavy twerk refresh by Mark Cutz exclusively for DJcity.

“I actually approached this remix as an original track,” Cutz says. “I had zero ideas of putting the ‘Gas Pedal’ vocals over it because I was just focused on making something funky [and] bouncy. The track was built around the triangle instrument that is sprinkled throughout. I was recently listening to some classics, and heard that same triangle instrument on Nu Shooz‘s “I Can’t Wait” from the 80s. That’s what gave me the motivation to give you guys this remix of ‘Gas Pedal!’”

The collaboration with the legendary turntablist A-Trak features a silver finish, rotary knobs, special sound curve, and a brand-new Fader FX feature that turns the volume faders into controls for four different effects and four tone generators.
