Tokyo Young Visionのアーティスト達がDJcityに楽曲を公開

2017年のDMC Online DJ Championshipが3月15日より開催
DMCが2017年のDMC Online DJ Championshipのエントリー受付が3月15日よりスタートし、投票のファーストラウンドが4月12日にスタートとのことです。
大会は世界中のターンテーブリストが参加可能で、7つのラウンドから成ります。ファイナルラウンドにて優勝した勝者にはRaneか賞品が贈られ、ロンドンで開催されるDMC World DJ Championshipへの挑戦権を得ることができます。
参加するDJはどの機材を使いエントリーすることが可能です。しかしながら優勝者して挑戦権を得てロンドンで行わるWrold Championshipでは規定機材を使用することが義務ずけられています。
今回は、DMCはカテゴリーを1つに集約しています。その為、今年のDMCにはシングル、チーム、ビジュアルDJといったカテゴリーは存在しません。
DMCのサイトによると:
“DMC decided to concentrate the web site on one ONLINE DJ CHAMPIONSHIP and have cancelled all other categories.
When the Championship re-launches in 2017, singles, teams, visual DJs, scratching and all age groups and styles will become part of the one contest rather than dilute the status of the main contest through too many smaller off-shoots.
We will however maintain a platform for anyone to upload their work as a creative outlet for viewing, comments, discussions and advancement of DJ art.”
DMCのプロモーションビデオとスケジュールは次の予定です。

ラウンド 1: 4月12日 – 4月26日
ラウンド 2: 4月26日 – 5月10日
ラウンド 3: 5月10日 – 5月24日
ラウンド 4: 5月24日 – 6月7日
ラウンド 5: 6月7日 – 7月21日
ラウンド 6: 6月21日 – 7月5日
ラウンド ファイナル: 7月26日
ラウンド ファイナル 結果発表: 8月2日
