Major Lazer‘s Walshy Fire blessed DJcity’s MikiDz Show on Monday with a one-of-a-kind appearance. The Jamaican native, who’s riding the wave from his Abeng album, kicked off the night with an inspiring interview followed by a high-energy, globally-minded set.
The conversation touched on several topics, including his mission to connect the Caribbean and Africa, and the importance of mic skills for DJs. As for his set, Walshy delivered a variety of Caribbean and African sounds, along with other styles like hip-hop and house. Included were several dubplates, a testament to Walshy’s legendary status.

Vice to Perform on DJcity’s ‘MikiDz Show’ Live Stream
After a three-month break, DJcity’s MikiDz Show will return on February 12 with DJ/producer Vice as the guest.
The legendary club and radio DJ was one of the first guests on the show, performing back in 2010. He has established himself as a successful solo artist since then, having recently signed with Atlantic Records/APG.
Vice’s appearance on the MikiDz Show will come one month before his and DJcity’s DJ conference, Beyond the Music Retreat. Viewers will have a chance to win a free pass to the retreat along with hotel accommodation during the show.
The MikiDz Show is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and includes an opening set from DJ Rell. Watch it at 7 p.m. PT on DJcity’s Facebook page or website.

Miles Medina to Perform on ‘MikiDz Show’ Live Stream
Award-winning DJ Miles Medina will perform on DJcity’s MikiDz Show live stream on Monday, Oct. 22. It will be the Bay Area native’s second appearance on the show, the first being back in 2010.
Medina has built a reputation over the years as one of the most skilled and versatile DJs from the West Coast. He has won a number of local competitions, and in 2017, took the national spotlight when he won the DJ battle at A-Trak‘s Goldie Awards. A seasoned party rocker, Medina also stays busy performing at clubs around the US.
The MikiDz Show is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and includes an opening set from DJ Rell. Watch it at 7 p.m. PT on DJcity’s Facebook page, YouTube channel, or website.

Watch Damianito’s ‘MikiDz Show’ Set

On Monday, Red Bull Music 3Style world champion Damianito kicked off the new season of DJcity’s MikiDz Show. The Italian DJ and turntablist delivered a creative set of hip-hop, bass music, and more, including a section of Italian hip-hop.
In attendance were some of Los Angeles’ most respected DJs, including Spider, Steve1der, and Dynamix.

DJcity Announces New Season of ‘MikiDz Show’
After a year-and-a-half hiatus, DJcity’s MikiDz Show will return for a new season on Tuesday, July 10! Kicking it off will be none other than this year’s Red Bull Music 3Style world champion, Damianito.
Based in Rome, Damianito has served as DJcity’s Italy representative since 2017. It will be his first appearance on the show, which is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone.

Watch Rafik’s MikiDz Show Set
Rafik, the 2007 DMC World Champion, performed on the season finale of DJcity’s MikiDz Show on Monday. The German DJ and producer served up an hour of trap, future bass, and hip-hop laced together with impressive turntablism and finger drumming. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out the season.

Rafik Will Perform on the MikiDz Show
Rafik, the 2007 DMC World Champion, will be the featured performer for the season finale of the MikiDz Show on November 8.
A native of Dusseldorf, Germany, Rafik now resides in Brooklyn, where he focuses on production. In May, Rafik teamed up with Craze on the single “Feel My Sound,” which was featured on DJcity.
The live stream will begin at 3 a.m. GMT and include sets by hosts MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone.

Watch Z-Trip’s MikiDz Show Set
On Monday, the one and only Z-Trip returned to DJcity’s MikiDz Show for his second performance on the program. As expected, his set was packed from beginning to end with creative blends and unexpected tracks. There was a little bit of something for everyone, from party rockers to turntablists.
It was also one of the rare occasions in which the interview section was just as dope as the performance. Z’s conversation with hosts MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone was full of valuable knowledge and wisdom on the art of DJing.

Z-Trip Will Perform on the Next MikiDz Show
The one and only Z-Trip will make his return to DJcity’s MikiDz Show on October 24, 2016. It will be his second appearance on the show, the first of which was in 2010.
The live stream will begin at 3 a.m. GMT and be hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone.

DJ Woody‘s performance on the MikiDz Show on Monday night was only 28-minutes long, but there’s a good reason for that. The legendary turntablist performed an incredibly technical and intricate set, which included original tracks and some of his most popular routines.
After his performance, Woody spoke with hosts MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone about his beginnings as a DJ, touring with Lootpack in the early ’00s, and other topics.
