They go deep into Khaled’s beginnings as a DJ, Drake, his first time connecting with Jay Z, the Asahd effect and much, much more. They also talk about his new album “Grateful”, which features many recognised artists but the interview also reveals his desire to work with UK’s Giggs and Skepta.

DJ Dubl sat down with DJ Semtex at Sony Music HQ in London to talk about his brand new book, “Hip Hop Raised Me”. They spoke about Semtex’s DJ career and whether he thinks he gets the credit he deserves and how and why the book came about and the similarities of releasing a book to releasing a music album with a record label.

Semtex also spoke about the relevance of detailing his challenging childhood and losing his right arm, which he talks about in great detail in the book.
