Antriks Reviews DJ TGK’s Break Record, ‘Clear Cuts Vol. 1’

Break records have been used by DJs for decades. Filled with content that ranges from scratch samples to instrumentals, they’ve played a pivotal role in the development of turntablism culture.

To put a spotlight on what’s out there, DJcityTV has teamed with Antriks, the director of Battle Avenue, on a new series called Fresh Press.

On the first episode, Antriks reviews DJ TGK‘s Clear Cuts Vol. 1 seven-inch. The record was released on UK turntablism label, Up2Scratch.

DJcity Launches Latin and UK Playlists on Spotify

DJcity Esenciales and DJcity UK Essentials

DJcity has expanded its Spotify presence with the launch of two brand new curated playlists: DJcity Esenciales and DJcity UK Essentials.

The playlists will join DJcity’s flagship playlist, DJcity Essentials, which features new music from artists such as Travis Scott, Post Malone, Cardi B, Diplo, Major Lazer, Marshmello, A-Trak, Sak Noel, and Valee. DJcity Essentials has over 5,000 followers while playing host to guest DJ takeovers from the likes of MAKJ, VICE, Party Favor, Far East Movement, Kennedy Jones, and Wax Motif.

As their names suggest, DJcity Esenciales and DJcity UK Essentials will highlight new and buzzing tracks in the Latin and UK scenes. They’ll be updated every Tuesday alongside DJcity Essentials.
