Watch: Treble T Discusses the Real Value of Vinyl on DJ Volatile’s ‘Selectors’

On the debut episode of Selectors, London’s DJ Volatile spoke to UK’s renowned DJ, Treble T. The BBC Radio 1Xtra veteran presenter and Rampage Sound host explained what he considers to be the real value of vinyl records.

Treble also discussed how he adapted, survived, and flourished when all of his music was taken from him at a time when it was nearly impossible to replace.

Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Spryte is back with the third episode of his vlog series, My DJcities with DJ Spryte.

On this episode, Spryte travels to Whitefish, Montana to play at Casey’s nightclub. While there, he goes over his music organization system in Serato. Then Spryte heads back to Los Angeles to the DJcity/Beatsource offices to talk with music director Kidd Spin about getting your music placed on record pools.

Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Spryte is back with the second episode of his vlog series, My DJcities with DJ Spryte. The series gives a look into the life of a touring DJ.

This time around, Spryte travels from Riverside, California to Reno, Nevada. Between club gigs, he offers insight into his gig-prepping process and talks to the talent buyer at Edge Nightclub about what she looks for when booking DJs.

David Delane won the Red Bull 3Style X Germany National Final last Thursday, competing against DJ E.T.E, LaikyLaik, Mr. Tone, DJ Deiz, and DJ Kid Rush.

David Delane is an open-format DJ based out of Berlin. This is his first Red Bull 3Style national final win.

Stonic Wins Red Bull 3Style Italy Final

Stonic won the Red Bull 3Style X Italy National Final last Friday, competing against SupaMario, Doto, Sonny Denja, Stema, and ANTARES COLOR.

Stonic is no stranger to winning competitions, he is a two-time IDA Italy Vice Champion and former DMC Italy Vice Champion. It is his first Red Bull 3Style national final win.

DJcity’s very own, DJames, won the Red Bull 3Style X UK National Final last Thursday, competing against DJ Rumz, Revrt, X-Ray Ted, DJ L-Biz, and DJ Isit.

DJames is a music editor for DJcity, the Dancehall and Afrobeats curator for Beatsource, and resident DJ for the Reggae Recipe show on Capital XTRA. It is his first national final win.
