Calvin Harris and PARTYNEXTDOOR Drop Dancehall-Influenced Single and Video, ‘Nuh Ready Nuh Ready’
Calvin Harris has proved that he’s capable of producing a variety of styles. However, the Scottish superstar has done little in the vein of dancehall.
Now, teaming with OVO singer PARTYNEXTDOOR, Harris has dropped a dancehall-influenced heater called “Nuh Ready Nuh Ready.” PND, who was born in Canada to a Jamaican mother, sings in patios throughout the track.

However, Wax Motif‘s new rework is one of the standouts. The Australian native has transformed the dancehall track into a completely new tune, with trap buildups and house drops.

Watch Major Lazer’s ‘Run Up’ Video Featuring PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj
Major Lazer has dropped a visual for their latest single “Run Up” featuring PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj. The track, which is set to appear on the group’s upcoming album, Music Is the Weapon, was DJcity’s most downloaded song of February.
The video takes place at a house party where everyone’s eyes are fixated on their phones. Directors Paul, Luc, and Martin said in a press release:
“The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones. Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection.”
