• DJ Brace Scratches Over Major Lazer’s ‘Run Up’ for ‘Fretless Fridays’

    If you follow DJ Brace online, chances are you’ve seen his Fretless Fridays videos. The series features the reigning DMC Online champ scratching over well-known songs using John Beez’s Fretless Fader.

    Starting today, DJcityTV will be hosting some of the videos with a focus on club-friendly tracks. For the first episode, Brace gets busy with Major Lazer‘s new anthem “Run Up” featuring PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj, which is currently No. 1 on DJcity.

    Major Lazer has recruited PartyNextDoor and Nicki Minaj for “Run Up,” a radio-friendly track that blends dancehall, R&B, and hip-hop. It is the third single off the group’s upcoming album, Music Is the Weapon.

  • DJ Edits of Rihanna’s New Single ‘Work’ Feat. Drake

    Rihanna just dropped a new single featuring Drake called “Work” and DJs Kidd Spin and Eddie Boy have already made edits of it. The release comes amid rumors that the singer will drop her long-awaited Anti album this week.
     
    Unlike the project’s previous single, “Work” is a dancehall-influenced anthem and is expected to receive a lot of club play. It was produced by longtime Drake collaborator Boi-1da and co-produced by PartyNextDoor, Allen Ritter, and Sevn Thomas.
