Bay Area turntablist Miles Medina has delivered a creative mini mix for Serato. His party rocking skills are on display as he flips mostly hip-hop and funk with clever trick mixing.

A veteran of the West Coast DJ scene, Medina gained attention in 2017 as the Goldie Awards DJ Battle champion. In October, he stopped by the DJcity studio for an impressive performance on the MikiDz Show.

Eight years after his debut on DJcity’s MikiDz Show, Miles Medina made his return on Monday. The Bay Area native put down a creative, eclectic, and technical performance, reminding us why he’s the Goldie Awards DJ Battle champion.

During his mid-show interview with hosts MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone, Medina spoke about the Goldie Awards, San Francisco scene, what he’s working on, and more.

Award-winning DJ Miles Medina will perform on DJcity’s MikiDz Show live stream on Monday, Oct. 22. It will be the Bay Area native’s second appearance on the show, the first being back in 2010.

Medina has built a reputation over the years as one of the most skilled and versatile DJs from the West Coast. He has won a number of local competitions, and in 2017, took the national spotlight when he won the DJ battle at A-Trak‘s Goldie Awards. A seasoned party rocker, Medina also stays busy performing at clubs around the US.

The MikiDz Show is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and includes an opening set from DJ Rell. Watch it at 7 p.m. PT on DJcity’s Facebook page, YouTube channel, or website.

We couldn’t have a scratch series without San Francisco representing. After months of anticipation, DJcityTV is excited to release the San Francisco edition of our “Cutting Room” series.
 
Filmed at Mixsterious’ headquarters in San Francisco, this session features routines from some of “The City’s” dopest on the cut including J.
