Freejak Remixes DJWS and DJ Drew’s ‘Just The Way You Are’ on DJcity Records
UK-based DJ/producer Freejak has put his spin on DJ White Shadow and DJ Drew‘s recent DJcity Records release “Just The Way You Are.” The remix puts a high-energy disco spin on the duo’s cover of the 2002 cult-classic track from Italian group Milky.

Grammy Award-winning producer DJ White Shadow teams up with LA’s DJ Drew for a disco-pop reboot of Milky‘s 2002 cult classic, “Just The Way You Are.” The single, which arrives just in time for pool party season, retains the infectious charm of the original’s melodies and trades in acoustic guitars for analog synths. Beatport and SiriusXM Join Forces For “Pitch Control: Powered by Beatport”

Beatport and SiriusXM have partnered on “Pitch Control: Powered by Beatport,” a new weekly radio show airing on Sundays at 11 PM EST on their electronic music channel, BPM. The show debuted this Sunday, April 5, hosted by Beatsource Dance Curator Andrew “DJ Drew” Ortiz. DJ Drew has 20 years of experience programming dance radio at KIIS FM in Los Angeles, making him an ideal host.
DJ Drew’s collaborators for this program include Beatport’s Berlin-based curation team, led by Raphael Pujol, Edwin “DJ Phenom” Paredes, who serves as a Program Director at SiriusXM for Pitbull’s Globalization and BPM channels, SiriusXM’s Vice President of EDM programming, Geronimo, and Program Director, Rida Naser. Tracks will also be selected by taking into account real-time activity on Beatport LINK, the streaming service that’s fully integrated with DJ software and hardware. It allows for songs being played by DJs around the world to be immediately known to the Beatport curation team.

DJ Drew is a mixer on SiriusXM’s Globalization channel and a curator at Beatsource. He previously served as a mixer on Los Angeles’ KIIS FM for 20 years. Drew is also a producer, having released original tracks on labels like Mixmash Records, as well as official remixes for stars like of Pitbull and Flo Rida.

Los Angeles’ DJ Drew has returned with a new Latin-infused single titled “Ponte a Bailar.” The horn-laden track follows his remix of Jenn Morel‘s single, “Tiguere.”
Drew is the longest-running, on-air mixer at KIIS FM, one of Los Angeles’ most influential radio stations.

DJ Drew Remixes Jenn Morel’s ‘Tiguere’: DJcity Exclusive

Nearly two weeks after releasing his single “Massive,” Los Angeles DJ/producer DJ Drew has dropped a Latin house remix of Jenn Morel‘s “Tiguere.” Drew’s version speeds up the track to 124 BPM while adding a tribal-influenced drop that incorporates Jenn’s chopped up vocals.
Drew is a mixer on Los Angeles’ KISS FM and SiriusXM’s Globalization channel. He joined DJcity’s music production team in April.
