DJcityTV Assembles Star-Studded Lineup for Toronto ‘Cutting Room’

DJcityTV’s Cutting Room series has featured some impressive lineups over the years, but Toronto’s new episode might take the cake. Representing T-Dot are nine award-winning turntablists, including heavyweights Skratch Bastid, Vekked, and Hedspin, along with Trapment, Dopey, Brandon Duke, DJ Grouch, deejay t-jr., and Needle & Groove.

Mojaxx Reviews MasterSounds’ Linear 4V Mixer and FX Unit

Tips and Tricks MasterSounds

On this episode of Tips and Tricks, Mojaxx reviews two pieces of DJ gear from boutique electronics manufacturer MasterSounds.

The Linear 4V is a made-to-order, four-channel mixer with a variety of features. The FX unit is a compact piece that is made to integrate with MasterSounds mixers, but works with a number of other mixers as well.

Watch: ‘Scratchflix’ Parodies ‘Ninja Assassin’

DJ Stonic has released another episode in his Netflix parody series, Scratchflix. On this episode, the former Red Bull Music 3Style and DMC contender offers a turntablist’s take on the show Ninja Assassin. The DJ/producer uses the instrumental of his own track, “Psycho,” co-produced by Sortek.
