Veteran club DJ Devin Lucien was the guest on this week’s episode of Beatsource‘s The 20 Podcast.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Devin got his break at Hollywood’s legendary Area night club in the 2000s. He has since become a fixture in the scene, rocking many of the city’s most exclusive clubs, as well as events for brands like Microsoft, Land Rover, and Playboy. Most recently, Devin has held it down at Warwick on Wednesdays and Poppy on Thursdays.

2019 IDA World Online Scratch Battle: Final Routines

Japan’s DJ Yocchi and Greece’s Marvel have advanced to the final round of the 2019 IDA World Online Scratch Battle. They’re up against the defending champion, Poland’s Pan Jaras.

The winner will be announced at the IDA World DJ Championships in Kraków, Poland on Saturday, November 30.

‘Meraki’ DJ Challenge Winners Announced

Slow Roast Records, Super Hero DJs, and DJcity have chosen the winners of DJ Ride‘s “Meraki” DJ Challenge. San Jose, California-based turntablist Illtrax took the top spot, with Singapore’s DJ KoFlo and Latvia’s DJ Aspirins taking second and third place respectively.

Reed Streets Drops Creative Open-Format Routine for DJcityTV

Reed Streets, a Philadelphia-based turntablist, has dropped a creative routine for DJcityTV.

Reed Streets is the music director and official DJ for the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team. He also spins on the alternative rock station Radio 104.5. In 2015, Streets was the Red Bull 3Style US runner-up.
