Former Red Bull 3Style world champion, Four Color Zack, recently headlined the legendary Do-Over party’s “Lei Over” event in Hawaii at Honolulu’s Encore Saloon. In this hour-long set, Zack blended house, hip-hop, dancehall, classic soul, and more. An example of when his award-winning turntablism skills are showcased? Hear the moment roughly 40 minutes in when Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” is slowed and seamlessly blended into Roots Manuva’s “Witness.”
Since being founded by Jamie Strong, Christopher Haycock, and Aloe Blacc in 2005, The Do-Over has become a well regarded global brand known for showcasing open format DJs playing good music in a backyard-BBQ setting.

Watch DSTRUKT’s ‘This One Is For Dilla’ Mix
Nearly two decades has passed since the unfortunate demise of producer and sample-loving MPC aficionado J Dilla. In honor of his legacy, DJ/producer DSTRUKT has put together a new eight-minute routine he recorded at the Serato studios.
The donut emoji in the title pays homage to Donuts, Dilla’s second and final album released in 2006 via Stones Throw Records. Described by Pitchfork as “pure postmodern art—which was hip-hop’s aim in the first place,” the release has an iconic spot in the history of hip-hop.
