Fresco Remixes Baby Bash and Frankie J’s ‘Suga Suga’: DJcity Exclusive

Fresco. (Source: Fresco)

Austin, Texas-based Fresco digs deep into the dembow and hyphy vibes to remix Baby Bash and Frankie J‘s 2003 hit “Suga Suga.” The pop tune gets some added low-end thump, transforming it into an early-to-peak hour groove.

“Suga Suga” was Baby Bash’s best-selling single, hitting the top ten in the US, Europe, and Asia. Its popularity extended over both 2003 and 2004, as it reached Billboard’s list of the hottest 100 songs for both years.

“The original is a great classic to end the night with,” Fresco says. “However, I wanted to find a way to give it more energy at a higher tempo without losing the vibe of the track. Remixing the track entirely instead of pitching up the BPM felt like the right way to go.”

Preview the remix below and download it exclusively on DJcity.
