During this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, DJcity’s own Mojaxx sat down for an interview with the Off The Record podcast crew. He talks about his first gear setup, DJing with streaming music, pros and cons of social media, and more. He also shares his top pieces of advice for beginner DJs.
Off The Record is a DJ culture-oriented podcast hosted by the Crossfader online DJ school. Based in the UK, Crossfader offers classes in DJ hardware/software and turntablism.

What It Takes For DJs to Break Music in 2019: ‘R.O.A.D. Podcast’
On this episode of the R.O.A.D. Podcast, the crew invites veteran open-format DJs Eleven and Ayres to discuss breaking new music in the club. The guys also talk about making mixtapes, the history of mash-ups, and how important it is for DJs to start their own party.
Eleven and Ayres are founders of The Rub, a monthly party that’s been a staple of New York City nightlife since 2002.
