DJ and turntablism culture continued to evolve in 2022, reaching new levels of creativity and technical ability. We saw DJs from all corners of the world throw down with a diverse range of equipment and genres. Atlanta’s Robbie Wilde (thatDEAFdj) Delivers Fast-Paced Routine for DJcityTV’s ‘Bedroom Sessions’

Atlanta-based turntablist Robbie Wilde, a.k.a. thatDeafDJ, has delivered a fast-paced wordplay routine for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions.

Despite having almost complete hearing loss, Wilde has excelled as both a turntablist and open-format DJ. He first made waves in the New York/New Jersey club scene in the early 2000s before doing national tours at schools and universities for the deaf community. He has performed for high-profile clients and events like Warner Brothers, Paramount, the NBA, New York Fashion Week, and more.

Laredo, Texas-based turntablist DJ LemonBeatz has dropped a technical and energetic routine for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions. He cleverly weaves Latin and hip-hop bangers with skillful scratching.

At 21-years old, LemonBeatz has already made a name for himself in his area’s DJ scene through consistent club and private event work.
