The latest updates for the Engine DJ ecosystem have just been released, with version 2.3 of the desktop software and hardware OS bringing a bunch of bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

But the big news is found in version 2.6 of Soundswitch, which follows the earlier Philips Hue integration with the new ability to synchronise with the Youtuber-favourite Nanoleaf LED panels, promising a stunning light show for live streams and performance videos, with no DMX knowledge required. The Silent Cue feature has been found in Serato DJ Pro for quite some time, but it has never been midi-mappable from within the software interface. This means that not every user had access to it, unless they wanted to get into some midi XML file trickery.
