DJ JAY-K Performs Turntablism Routine Using Skrillex’s ‘Summit’

DJ JAY-K, a four-time DMC Switzerland Champion and three-time ITF Italy Champion, has dropped a turntablism routine via DJcityTV. His two-and-a-half-minute performance is based on Skrillex‘s 2011 track, “Summit,” which features Ellie Goulding.

Skrillex has collaborated with a wide range of artists throughout the years, from Damian Marley to Justin Bieber. He’s also had his share of hip-hop collaborations, including “El Chapo” (The Game), “No Chill” (Vic Mensa), and “Febreeze” (2 Chainz).
 
Now, a video has surfaced of Skrill dropping an unreleased song with Rick Ross during his set at Atlantic City’s WAV Nightclub on Saturday. It’s unknown when or if the track will be released, but fans have speculated that it could be featured in the upcoming DC Comics film, Suicide Squad (some of Ross’ verses reference the movie).

Skrillex and Diplo have released visuals for the AlunaGeorge-assisted “To Ü” — the third single off their debut Jack Ü album. The song recently received remixes from Armand Van Helden, Clean Bandit, and Oliver.

Justin Bieber Drops New Single ‘Sorry’

After much anticipation, Justin Bieber has released his new song, “Sorry.” The track is Bieber’s second single off his upcoming album Purpose and follow-up to “What Do You Mean.”
 
The dancehall-influenced mid-tempo track features production from Skrillex and DJ/producer BloodPop.
 
To coincide with “Sorry,” Bieber has shared a dance video featuring a group of women performing choreography to the track. Watch it below and download “Sorry” on DJcity.

ZHU Debuts Skrillex Collaboration at CRSSD Fest

ZHU has been on fire since bursting onto the scene in early 2014. After a successful year that saw tracks like “Faded” and “Cocaine Model,” the mysterious producer returned in September with the Genesis Series. So far, the project has included collabs with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Trombone Shorty (“Hold Up, Wait A Minute“), Gallant (“Testarossa Music“), A-Trak and Keznamdi (“As Crazy As It Is“), and AlunaGeorge (“Automatic“).
 
Another collab, this time with Skrillex, has the potential to be the most popular yet, though. Watch below to see ZHU debut the unreleased track at the recent CRSSD Fest in San Diego, California. The audio quality is poor, but it’s enough to give you an idea of what to expect.
