Tuxedo, a disco-funk duo made up of Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, have been featured on the latest episode of Mass Appeal’s Rhythm Roulette.

The series challenges producers to select three records from a store while blindfolded and make a beat out of them.

Founded in 2007, the duo recently released their second album, Tuxedo II. They’re set to embark on a US tour this summer.

The series challenges producers to make a beat by sampling three random records, chosen from a record store while blindfolded.

A native of Pennsylvania, Jahlil is best known for producing street anthems like Meek Mill’s “Ima Boss” and Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N#gga.” He has also worked with superstars like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Diddy, and Rick Ross.

The series challenges producers to make a beat by sampling three random records, chosen from a record store while blindfolded.

Remi is best-known for producing old school anthems like Ini Kamoze’s “Here Comes the Hotstepper” and The Fugees’ “Fu-Gee-La,” along with more recent hits like Nas’ “I Can” and Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire.” The Queens, New York native also contributed to Amy Winehouse’s studio albums Frank and Back to Black.

Drumma’s credits include Young Jeezy and Kanye West’s “Put On,” Birdman, Lil Wayne, and Drake’s “Money To Blow,” and Waka Flocka Flame, Roscoe Dash, and Wale’s “No Hands.”

Mass Appeal has featured acclaimed hip-hop producer DJ Dahi in its Rhythm Roulette series. The series challenges producers to make a beat by sampling three random records, chosen from a local record store while blindfolded.

A native of Los Angeles, Dahi made a name for himself in 2012 when he produced Dom Kennedy’s “My Type of Party.” He has since produced or co-produced anthems like Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees,” Drake’s “Worst Behavior,” Big Sean’s “I Don’t F#ck With You,” and ScHoolboy Q’s “Hell of a Night.”

Mass Appeal has featured legendary hip-hop producer Hi-Tek in their popular Rhythm Roulette series. The series challenges producers to make a beat by sampling three random records, chosen from a local record store while blindfolded.
 
Hi-Tek has served as a staff producer for Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label since the mid-2000s, where he’s crafted tracks for Snoop Dogg, The Game, 50 Cent, and most recently Anderson .Paak.
 
Before joining Aftermath, Tek was signed to Rawkus Records and contributed production to classic albums like Mos Def and Talib Kweli’s Black Star and Talib Kweli’s Train of Thought.
