Timmy Trumpet’s Melbourne Bounce banger “Freaks” has received an incredible cover by a father and his son. We have no idea who they are but their version is too entertaining not to share…

By the way, the original version has amassed over 800,000 SoundCloud plays since September so check it out if you haven’t yet:

Uberjak’d Talks Melbourne Bounce, New Track “Turn Up The Club” & More

Uberjak'd

At the beginning of 2014, Steve Aoki invited rising Australian DJ/producer Uberjak’d to join his influential Dim Mak label, which was followed by a melodic debut titled, “The Moment.” While the track amassed SoundCloud 200,000 plays and expanded his audience, Uberjak’d had already been at the forefront of Australia’s club scene for a couple years. He’s performed at his country’s largest festivals and celebrated having the #1 podcast in Australia on iTunes, beating out Hardwell and Tiesto.

The Aussie’s future looks bright too: his new party anthem “Turn Up The Club” with fellow countrymen Chardy and Kronic has received over 400,000 SoundCloud plays in a month and a collaboration with Laidback Luke is coming down the pipeline.

We recently caught up with Uberjak’d in sunny Palm Springs, California to discuss the rise of Melbourne Bounce, his latest single, performing at Tomorrowland, and more. The interview was followed by his energetic closing set at the Splash House festival and an afterparty that resulted in decimated bottles of vodka.
