Watch: DJ Delta Flips Dave Brubeck’s Jazz Classic ‘Take Five’

DJ Delta has dropped a creative routine flipping Dave Brubeck’s jazz classic, “Take Five.” The former Red Bull Music 3Style Italy champion recreates the track by scratching and looping four different instruments.

“Take Five” was released in 1959 and eventually became the highest selling jazz single of all time. It has been covered and sampled by dozens of artists across genres.

DJ Delta has shared his showcase set from the Red Bull Music 3Style IX Italy finals, which took place earlier this month in Rome.

The former 3Style Italy champion, who served as a judge for the final, threw down a diverse, high-energy set full of party anthems. Delta pulled out all the stops to weave his mix together, using creative word play and tone play as well as classic turntablism.
